Aeros on TV

We knew it was coming, though I was hoping it would come sooner and more frequently (that's what she said), but whatever. Gift horse, mouth, etc.

Anyway, FSN Houston and FSN North are going to show four Aeros home games this spring. They'll show in real time here in Houston and on tape delay for the Minnesotans, ya betcha.

What's even more impressive is that they say they actually have a plan to promote the games, Friday Night Ice (as they're all Friday games, natch). I'd be surprised in the promotion is much more than just branding the series of games, but who knows. I'm mostly just happy the Minnesota crowd will get to see what's left in Houston after they cherry picked our very best players. Ya hosers.

Kidding of course. Love the Minnesotans.

FOX Sports Houston is on Comcast channel 37, DirecTV channel 678 and various channels on Dish Network (check local listings).

• Friday, January 16 vs. Toronto at 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, January 30 vs. Binghamton at 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, February 27 vs. Rockford at 7:30 p.m.
• Friday, March 27 vs. Rockford at 7:30 p.m.

For the Minnesotans, the games will air as follows:

• Aeros v. Toronto Marlies -- January 17th at 1:30 a.m. and January 21st at 7:00 p.m.
• Aeros v. Binghamton Senators -- February 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
• Aeros v. Rockford IceHogs -- Monday, March 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
• Aeros v. Rockford IceHogs -- Saturday, March 28th at 6:00 p.m.

So, that should be good fun. And it should give the Risebrough haters more fuel for their eternal flame. Because if they have bad games, then the cupboard is bare and Riser Sucks. And if they play well, why the hell haven't they called these guys up? Riser Sucks. Try and tell me that song isn't getting overplayed...
