Aeros v. Quad City Lames - Game 52
This is getting monotonous.
Krys Kolanos drives the scoring. The defense is disappointing. Aeros get a point but can't score in the shootout.
At least Constantine had a little freakout at the beginning of the shootout and got tossed from the game for "Coach Obscenity" (LOL) as he was standing on the ice, screaming in the ref's face. Can't wait to hear what that was about, but it certainly didn't help the shooters focus on their jobs.
Stoner was back because I guess whatever his problem is is less painful than Scotty's jacked up hand/finger/whatever. Pouliot, Irmen, and Madsen all still out. Mojzis was out as well, which means they were playing with a short bench. But Irving's a short goalie so it should have worked out. No luck.
Tomorrow, Kurtis Foster joins the team on the blue line. I don't expect huge minutes but it's great to see him get to put all his hard work onto the ice finally. I really didn't expect him back at all.
Sorry for the sucky game report but this is some rather uninspired hockey, or at least it looks that way on the tiny screen. Hopefully things will get more entertaining when the boys come home on the 15th.
And finally, a shout out to my dear Coach Stalin who broke her arm playing hockey tonight. Bless her heart, she just moved up to C league last week and was so pumped about it. Fortunately it was a clean break and won't require surgery or anything. But she's so disappointed and I'm disappointed for her.

Foz, too. I'll try to do a little better writing up tomorrow's game. Chicago's camera work is pretty good while the puck is moving so maybe I'll be able to tell which big guy he is. :)
Not sure on Pouly. Something short term enough that they were saying yesterday that he's probable for sometime this weekend. Of course, this means he's just sitting around in a suit game after game. Rawr.
Word is the Pouliot's zipper is stuck on his purse and he's having trouble finding a velcro version that matches his sweater.
Now now... Pouly's been working hard down here. And he's so handsome in a suit. Have I mentioned that?

I know. FAIL on my part. But he didn't do much other than get a penalty and miss a shootout attempt. So, in short, Chucko Sucks. :) Thanks for reminding me.
Constantine was bitching about the condition of the ice in front of the net.
Yeah, I knew that (and I suppose I should have said it) but more like what the condition was that was so upsetting. The worst condition in front of the net on that shootout was the Aeros shooters...
i know this is old, but wanted to comment.
the ice in qc that night was awful due to a broken compressor. additionally our zamboni crew is awful. so the coach was freaking out about the bad ice for the shootout. they actually tried to clean it 3 times. wasn't working out so hot...
love and watt had a good scrap that game but thats about all i remember. oh, that and booing kolanos when he had the puck. krissy the sissy wouldnt even come back out for his 2nd star. pansy!
and of course... chucko sucks!
