But wait! There's more!

The Aeros unveiled their new web site today and while it's a lot of the same, with some nods here and there to the 15th anniversary of the team, it has a new section for photos that isn't entirely fleshed out yet, but amusing to browse through anyway.

http://www.aerosphotos.com/

Of course, the best ones are the action shots of the games (though, would it kill ya to whittle them down to the best 50 and fix the color and contrast? I know you people have interns out the wazoo. Hell, I'd do it for free tickets) and, while there's only one game up (but about a thousand pictures from that game), it's pretty entertaining to flip through. Some great shots of Clutterbuck throwing nice hits and Gillies jawing and throwing hits. Lots of all the boys really, which was cool.

But also on this site are pictures from the Houston Aeros Charities Golf Tournament. It's mostly just the boys looking like sloppy young athletes surrounded by people with enough money to buy themselves a sloppy young athlete for the day for the tax write off and a good cause. Jealous and cynical? Me? Never. Anyway, they're worth a look to see the boys in civies. But I'll post one here, because it made me laugh out loud.

"How's she bootin'er, ladies?"

Oh, dear Brusty... they're not even sucking in their guts for you, honey.

"not even sucking in their guts"
thank you! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time

Did anyone else notice the star on that one girls butt?

Hilarious.

Poor Brusty. They're waiting for Stoner to come by before they suck it in.

Oh yes, those are their skimpy uniforms. The other girl has one on the other side of her. Nothing but the best for our Aero Dynamics. What's sad, if you look at the pictures, is that they made them play golf in those outfits!

I don't blame them. Clayton Stoner is pretty cute.

Ms. Conduct  September 3, 2008 at 1:47 PM

Yeah. For what it's worth, Stoner's a piece alright, but Brusty's my guy. All the way. Stoner's like the angel on one shoulder and Brusty's like the devil on the other. :) Pass the pitchfork.

Stoner is much better looking in person than he is in pictures. Too bad he really hasn't improved much.

Ms. Conduct  September 3, 2008 at 10:48 PM

You are so right about that. He's not the most photogenic. Ryan Hamilton is the same way. Adrian Foster is the opposite... he's fantastic looking in photos but in person it's like, meh.

But yeah, Stoner was in front of me a lot since we sit by the blue line on his side. He does this thing where he stares at me or whoever is right in front of him when he's skating into position for a face-off. It's a little disconcerting but also kinda hot. I always want to mouth "Call me" or something to him. LOL

Clayton Stoner sat next to me in a preseason game maybe three seasons ago at the X. (Not everyone plays every game in preseason, so some of them sit in the stands in suits. Marian Gaborik *puke* was three rows in front of me) I was really hoping he'd improve a lot and make the big team after that. I didn't think my family would EVER let me live that one down.

Ice girls are just a bad idea all around. I really hope the Wild don't decide to get them.

Ms. Conduct  September 4, 2008 at 12:12 PM

Ohhh, nice. I'd be hoping for overtime and a shootout if I were sitting next to Stoner. :)

Jennifer Hammer  September 4, 2008 at 12:53 PM

I heart Stoner. I love the "call me" idea, he just might do it, he's that nice. Hopefully he can stay healthy and work on improving!

Oh dave... if only. You know, he's a prime Hockey Husband candidate. He'd totally take the trash out without asking. Gotta get him in the big show so he gets the girly adoration he deserves. Here's hoping he has a great camp and knocks the Wild coaches socks off so he gets a call up this year.

Jennifer Hammer  September 4, 2008 at 2:50 PM

he can knock MY socks off anytime

Kirsten  September 6, 2008 at 11:09 AM

God, I was SO hoping the game would go longer. Unfortunately the boys in green didn't oblige me. Sad times for me.

If Stoner makes the big show, he's automatically my new favorite player.

1) Brust walked past me one night when he was playing for Spokane about a million years ago and had that exact same look on his face. Are we sure he's not some kind of Disney Animatron?

2) Those pictures do Stoner no justice - he looks super tired and/or hung over. I agree with DS, Clayton is just that nice. He actually saved my life once or twice - for real. I hope the kid can keep himself off the IR and get a call up.

His playoff beard had him looking pretty good, that Stoner. Good to hear he's really that nice. I'm rooting extra hard for him this season. :) I miss him... I miss them all. Where's effing October???

Hadn't considered the animatron angle on my Brusty. I've seen him make other faces though, so I think he's human. But... goalie human, so still a little bit jacked up.
