I switched it to the other wrist for a while and the numbness went away. It was SUCH a weird feeling to put on gloves in the winter and not be able to feel two fingers....
Minnesotagirl71Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8705820500334920463.post-79313904839275814862012-06-08T12:53:35.460-05:002012-06-08T12:53:35.460-05:00Yeah, we all went right to the ulnar nerve, but th...Yeah, we all went right to the ulnar nerve, but the fact that it's in both hands pretty much evenly is what's throwing us off. Doc and I decided to just keep an eye on it and if it doesn't get better (or starts to get worse), we'll do xrays of my neck and see if something jumps out. She wasn't overly concerned since there's no weakness. It's mostly just really annoying.

Plus, it gives me an excuse to get a great massage, so that's on tomorrow's agenda. Learned that there is a nerve that feeds those two fingers that runs through the little groove on the side of your elbow. Apparently the nerve is really close to the skin and can get pinched or moved out of it's protective little groove. Mine resolved itself even though it took a couple months.
Good luck!
Minnesotagirl71Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
